The Curiosity Rover, also known as the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), is one of NASA’s most iconic and ground-breaking missions to the Red Planet. Launched on November 26, 2011, and landing on Mars on August 5, 2012, Curiosity was designed to explore and study the Martian surface in unprecedented detail, with the primary goal of assessing the planet’s past and present habitability.
